One of my favorite players perhaps may never take another NFL snap, ever again. I always visioned Collie and Luck playing together, causing mayhem for defenses for years to come. It's such a heart breaking tragedy that we will never see it happen. I really would have liked Garçon to stay along with Reggie. Collie in the slot.. And we still have T.Y.for depth, along with Fleener and Allen at the TE position. It's just said what happened to Austin.. I wish him the best and fully support him on whichever direction he decides to take his career.

It really is sad.

Collie was good and was supposed to be the next Stokley.

Unfortunately, he ended up like Anthony Gonzalez.

I hope he does well with whatever he does when he is healthy.

Your being realistic to a point but don't give up hope yet. Remember it was a knee injury, he can comeback from that. I think he will get a shot from the Colts, he's got a low price tag.

Indeed, but there's room on the roster, they'd find a place for him, and we wouldn't (hopefully) need to find Reggie's replacement. Not with any urgency anyway.
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this thread is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

No question. Terrible we gave up a 2 for Vontae because I would love to take WR there. Preferably J. Hunter but it's unlikely he is there

he may not be our # 2 much longer if TY and Brazill can up their game alittle more. and who knows who we draft or sign off of FA. Avery may not even be on the team anymore after the season is over lol

but honestly do you really believe he was worth a 2nd round pick??? Talib went for a 4th or 6th rounder and Samuel went for a 4th or 6th rounder as well. not to mention we got davis when he was out of shape. my honest opinion is we should have gotten him with a 4th rounder or a couple late round picks. so hopefully he steps up and plays like he is worth a second round pick when he comes back.

Collie is done in a Colts uni. I would be extremely shocked if he was brought back no matter how cheap. League minimum is still too much to pay a guy that can't make it to the field on Sunday. Collie couldn't even get out of preseason without getting his bell rung and then has a knee injury that finishes his season. Stick a fork in him because he's done. Hopefully the new regime isn't into throwing money down the drain on players that spend more time in rehab than playing football. I like Collie but not enough to keep wasting time, money, and a roster spot for however long he manages to hang around until he goes on IR

I foresee a Collie/Manning reunion this offseason. It sucks, but that's just life in the NFL. Honestly, his injury this year could be a blessing in disguise. With his route running/football IQ/work ethic he could have been a big time player in this league, but a couple bad hits to the head and it's all just untapped potential.

I'm leaning towards him not being resigned, but I don't think his career is over. lol

At least for Collie's sake it was not another concussion that ended his season. Hopefully he'll be back.

Collie has been one of my favorite players for the Colts since he was drafted. The 17 in my username is for Collie. I really hope we can get him back for cheap. If he can stay healthy, he is worth the money.

haha...I'm ashamed to admit it, but yes it is. I was a huge Donald Brown fan when he was at UConn, and was happy to see him come to Indy. Obviously, he hasn't panned out like I thought he would, but he's still not terrible. Indy3117 has been my go to username for fantasy football and other sites for awhile now, so I just kept it. Maybe I should change it to Indy1213 or Indy1287 lol.
