The Packers looked like lost puppies against Big Blue. The Giants just showed why they are SB champs. http://www.nfl.com/g...iants#tab=recap

For a cold weather team, they sure have struggled quite a bit in cold weather games the last few years.

God, I love the Giants! A tremendous pass rush. Osi was on fire tonight. Webster rebounded after giving up that TD to WR Nelson. Their running game was spectacular! I'd like to see the Colts get a tough running game like that. And last but not least, the G-Men were responsible for a number of coverage sacks tonight. The Giants won at home and they never win at home. The Giants completely manhandled GB tonight.

Say whatever you want about Coach Coughlin, but he has a firm grip on that team and that team always plays exceptionally well when the season is in the balance.

If I were to highlight 1 concern for the NY Giants, it would be this: Eli Manning's throws tonight seemed a tad bit off almost as if he couldn't put touch on the ball & drop it in the WR bread basket. It was odd. Eli missed the easy throws. Very uncharacteristic of him. Chalk it up to an off night I guess. If their running game wasn't so great tonight, it would have been tough sledding for Eli.

1 last point: Thank God Jason Pierre Paul is okay...It scared the crap outta me when I saw him laying on the turf. The guy's a bleeping stud on defense and NY can't afford to lose him. My favorite Giant is DE Justin Tuck though. He brings the heat game after game; year after year. I love the guy!

Brown, the 2nd year back did leave with what Coughlin called a broken tibula or fibula, either way it's not good news for him. He's battled injuries during his young career.

Their defense played really well. Manning wasn't sharp but he made some good throws.

I still think he plays better on the road than he does at home, whether it is good/average/bad conditions.

Another reason why I respect the Giants: They can pull themselves out of a losing streak by sheer will power & stubborn determination alone. Do you ever see the Dallas Cowboys doing that? Heck no. Not in a million years. "

America's Team" My Caboose! The Cowboys bleeping suck because, unlike the NY Giants, they have no real leadership in their own locker room IMO. This NFC East division battle will come down to the Giants & the Redskins plain & simple. How many years have the Cowboys not made the Playoffs or fell short in the Playoffs now? I forget...It happens so often & frequently you know...

I agree 100% with everything you just said FJC. Eli will work out the kinks like he always does. Besides, it's not December yet and Eli always gets hot in December so I'm worried at all.

After all, he's a Manning after all & clutchness & winning are in their DNA & bloodstream. haha

Another reason I like HC Tom Coughlin: He willingness to throw the challenge flag, believe in his men on the field, defy the zebra call, and get awarded the TD. Again, an example of real leadership here IMO.

Being a real leader of men doesn't mean shouting profanity; It means no excuses for bad play, working hard to fix the problem, and having faith in your men on the field to go the extra mile and score a TD. :td:

Does anyone see a rematch as a wild card? I think this game hurts the Packers chances of acing the Bears for the division title, since they just exposed how bad Minnesota truly is.

Chicago is ranked 30th in offense, yet 3rd in defense. They really have a cupcake schedule to finish the season.

Minnesota worries me for the Pack cause Rodgers got beat up tonight, and Jarred Allen always sacks him a ton of times when they play. The Vikings ALWAYS play GB tough, even when they are terrible like last year (they could have won last year in the Metrodome)

If this is a rematch I wouldn't be shocked to see it's the same result. Rodgers sadly is not a come back QB like Favre was before him, and the Packers overall are not even close to the level of last year. Not even ranked in the top 10 on offense, people constantly say their defense is better but tonight you saw what happened, they are no better than they were last year with giving up huge plays.

You cannot give the Giants or Tom Coughlin two weeks to prepare for you, while playing at home. Not with those DL and that offense.
Well, technically, the keyboard did it, soooo.........
