I always bring up my dad this time of year as he was one of many who stormed the beaches of Omaha Beach (Red) in WWII....simply amazing to this day the courage of those Allied Forces.
As USAFHoosier states, my thank you goes out to everyone who has served in the past, who is serving now, and will serve in the future to protect us. I also pray for those who died for us as well as their families...the ultimate sacrifice for the freedom in the United States of America.
Happy Veterans Day.

Your dad is a true American hero. The men who were on the beaches in Normandy were some of the bravest people in the history of the USA.I remember thanking you for your service USAFHoosier when you joined the forum, and I repeat it today! Thank you, Sir.
