Darius Butler looked like Revis compared to him tonight. Even Gordy outplayed him thoroughly.

I dont care, the defense as a whole played well tonight. 1 fumble recovery and a INT for a TD.

I have yet to see anything special from Vaughn so far.

i think when Davis comes back or powers comes back who ever comes back first, Butler will be the starter on the opposite side. he played good tonight.

I would much rather have Butler on one side and Davis on the other.

Butler certainly earned a starting spot once Powers & Davis are healthy.

Butler has more INTs than anybody else and this is his first game!

Butler covered ok. He gave up some catches too. But grabbing the TOs were nice!

I couldnt agree with you more. Davis and Butler starting and Powers as the nickel back. Butler earned his spot.

Cassius Vaughn and Zbikowski both looked slow enough to be discarded in the offseason to me.

Vaughn probably will be, his deal is up at the end of year, Zbi wont be, his deal is not up till 2015, Now that dont mean they wont bring in another SS but Zbi isn't bad, decent Corner play helps the Safeties because they can come up and put pressure on the QB with blitzes and are able to roam free in coverage to make plays

I wouldn't have thought that Butler would have the monster game he had tonight.

Vaughn needs to stop with the little dances after his receiver doesn't catch the ball. I'm really tired of the celebrations he does like he actually did something to make a play besides get hit in the helmet with the ball. He's not good.

He does a mean incomplete signal everytime his man is overthrown or drops the ball. That's about all I've seen from him.

Finally, My username has some validity.

I was hoping that Butler starts over him now. I swear Butler was Invisible tonight. He got the ball like 4 times & 2 of the times there was a Turnover (Pick 6 & fumble).

Vaughn on the other hand, Gabbert just hiked & threw the quick pass. Then Vaughn tries to be like Butler to jump the Route, & gets Beat deep. 10 men played Well tonight on Defense, Vaughn was the Odd One Out. Hope he gets Benched

a lot of people were high on Vaughn after the packers game. Now look at them. Butler needs to do it a few more times before I am comfortable with him replacing powers.
Thank You Peyton! I look forward to the day you come home and we get to do this good bye thing right!

You forgot to add, when he commits P.I but it doesn't get called.
In another moment, down went Alice after it, never once considering how in the world she was to get out again.

You guys overreact way too much. The guy is a nickle corner forced into the starting role because of injuries on a short week. Considering that, you can't really be disappointed with the effort from anyone in the secondary last night. They were good enough to secure the win.... so be quite, already. Sheesh

Congrats on the outstanding hire, Cards.... SUCKERS!

Vaughn out played Butler tonight IMO. Accept for the interception, Butler was giving way too much cushion and was quite a bit out of position IMO. Vaughn (except for when we went prevent), was almost always up on his man and even on compeleted passes, was right there. He had one really bad play and that was the blatant PI. He also did try to jump a route right after Butlers pick-6,, but at that point in the game, I think it was a good risk. Zbikoski if anything was out of position and caused the big YAC. I think everyone is getting excited about Butler because of the INT and Mayocks continually talking him up. The guy may have potential, but one game? I'll wait to get excited.

It's pretty bad when Vaughn is looking around for the penalty flag after he makes a play. The dude is consistently costing us yardage with * pass interference/illegal contact plays.

In case no one else noticed, in a previous post I made, I incorrectly spelled the word "quiet," "Q-U-I-T-E" instead of "Q-U-I-E-T." Once again, I misspelled the word "quiet," "Q-U-I-T-E" instead of "Q-U-I-E-T." Just thought I should point that out ONE MORE TIME, in case gagger, over here, didn't make that abundantly clear enough with his contrived grammar jokes.

Congrats on the outstanding hire, Cards.... SUCKERS!

In every game he's played, except for one, he's been the worst cornerback by far. I saw this thread coming, after all of the undeserved love he was getting weeks ago. Figured it wouldn't be long before those same people did the usual quick flip flop on their opinion.
