I think if he's on the board, we should take a look at him. O-line is a nice pick, but we can hit FA for that. Getting a young pass-rusher to take over for Freeney will be critical for our defense to improve next year. He plays DE but should transition to 3-4 OLB nicely.

I appreciate that publicly he is saying all the right things about wanting to come back. But, from the player's perspective, he almost has to say that. If he said right now he's coming out that would take the focus off the 'team' and put the focus squarely on Moore.
That's not good for anyone. Not the team. Not for Moore.
I'm not trying to be cynical here. The kid may indeed go back to school for another year. And if so, good for him.
I'm just saying don't read too much into his public comments.... what he's saying publicly and what he's thinking privately may not be the same.....

I like him but 4-3 DE possibly could play 3-4 OLB, Dunno if I wanna hinge my hopes that he can pick the scheme up but I dont see him as a top 10 pick just to many other players that will likely go in the top 10, Then again I want to go RT or Guard and then get a guy like Brandon Jenkins in the 3rd or Devin Taylor
i believe they had a scheme change and he played in a 3-4 last year

Many big boards had him in the late teens... now they have him in the top 5.
This kid reminds me of Mario Williams... he can do it all, but his speed is the best of all.

Moore has been one of the most productive players in the nation this year and is a top 10 projected pick and would be ahead of Jenkins even if he wasn't injured.http://www.aggieathl...TCLID=205236195 2 Years of good but not elite production. Not worth a first round pick for us in my opinion, we would be replacing a Jerry Hughes with a Jerry Hughes if you go by his production. Brandon Jenkins is bigger and way more productive (pre injury which would be a concern of course but well worth the risk as a mid round pick). No way should Moore be going in the 1st in my opinion it would be a reach by a round and maybe 2. I like Moore but combine his lack of elite production and his drug arrest (marijuana) back in June of 2011 and he is not worth the risk

meh to high for my blood, I'd gamble with Jenkins in the 3rd. factor in Moores drug arrest to, that could come into play like Janoris Jenkins off field trouble did (not comparing 1 drug arrest to 2 and a fight Im just sayin Moore has been arrested once and still has a long way to go before the draft), obviously anything can happen, but as it is Jenkins was the more productive player, he had 13.5 sacks and 21.5 tackles for loss his first year as a starter and 41 tackles, 8 sacks and 12 tackles for loss the next year, Thing is he could return for his Senior year do to his foot injury so we may not even have a chance to get him either wayMoore has been one of the most productive players in the nation this year and is a top 10 projected pick and would be ahead of Jenkins even if he wasn't injured.

the guy had 8.5 sacks as a sophomore and is playing excellent as a junior.....not sure what more you could want.

I'd take the 13.5 sacks in Jenkins first year and his bigger size, I just think Jenkins will be better, but like I said he may not even come out come draft day, he may want to improve his draft stock after injury, Its not that I dont like Moore but he is young (20 I believe) and has been busted for marijuana, just like J Jenkins he is an extra risk. I like Moore but not enough to take him in the 1st roundthe guy had 8.5 sacks as a sophomore and is playing excellent as a junior.....not sure what more you could want.

jenkins is a senior...unless he can get a medical redshirt he will be in the draft.

Thats what I meant, he may do that. I think we should take that risk if he falls to the mid rounds. I like Moore just not crazy about him at 20 and the drug charge, plus I kinda like Jenkins put a whippin on Castonzo getting 9 tackles 3.5 for loss and two sacks as a Sophomore against himjenkins is a senior...unless he can get a medical redshirt he will be in the draft.
