Anyone heard anymore news on his rehab? I know it's a long shot that he is even returns to the field with 2 serious knee injuries in a little over a year, but I'm still intrigued to see if he can get back. If he's able to recover, he could add depth for us on the line, at the very least. It's a shame he got hurt again before the season even started. I wish him a full recovery and hope he's able to resume his career, even if it isn't with the Colts

Congrats on the outstanding hire, Cards.... SUCKERS!

Probably not going to be with the team next year to make room for other players.

Thought the guy looked like a Stud in his brief playing time.
It would be great if he were 100% and given a chance to compete.

Why not? Why wouldn't we give him a shot in the offseason?

I don't procrastinate, I just like to do things later.

I believe he will be on the team as well. Why would the team re-sign him to the IR if we had no thoughts of taking a look at him next season? Too bad about the knees but medical advancement has come along way and he should be able to make a run at coming back healthy next season.

He's still on the roster, and is under contract through 2013. If he can pass a physical, he'll likely be on the 90 man camp roster.

I can't help but feel bad for him. He has all the potential in the world and I think he would actually be a better LT than Castonzo. I have a gut feeling that Ijalana could be a top 5 LT in the league.
When Bob Sanders executes a push up, he does not push himself up. He pushes the world down.
When Bob Sanders was 12, a cobra bit him in the leg. After 4 days of excruciating pain, the cobra died.
Tom Brady can throw a football pretty far. Bob Sanders can throw Tom Brady even farther.

He actually filled in quite well for Costanzo when he got hurt in the Bucs game last year (before he, himself, got hurt, of course.)

Everything I've read on him says that he has all the tools to be a very good LT in the league.

He has to be paid, since he was injured before we waived(injured) him. He cleared waivers, so we put him back on I.R. Why not see where he is next season. if not healthy, there will probably be an injury settlement and he'll be waive injured again, but not placed on I.R. If he passes, the, see if he can make all the cuts in training camp.

"As much as people talk about his football IQ, I think it's still underestimated. I've never met a guy like Andrew Luck at this stage of the game.”

He will be in camp next year to compete, if healthy... It would be great if he healed up and stayed healthy... he has a lot of potential and should be gaining some familiarity with our system, at least on paper.. just another chip in Grigs's back pocket for 2013

Almost every draft expert compared him to Tarik Glenn in how he played. I remember Gruden saying that he would end up being the starting LT even though Castonzo was drafted first.

If he's healthy he'll be here especially if he can save the Colts a draft pick or money burnt on a FA.

Would love for him to come back healthy and stay healthy. He could make the oline better without having to make any extra moves in the draft or FA in the next few years.

we have to see what he can do in training camp next year and probably the season simply because we have guys right now that are starting that have no business starting, if he works he works if he dont then hopefully we would already have had a good alterior plan in place, I hope he fits the scheme because he was drafted originally in our Zone Blocking scheme by the previous regime, will be interesting for sure

loyalty is the only reason he is still there. not a bad thing. he is as good as gone, too many injuries, too quickly, and too serious.
