Thought the episode was good but a little drawn out in parts. How many more episodes left for this season?

Im so happy Rick stopped Carl from eating the dog food!
Is there a budding romance between Daryl and Carol?
Rick has definately become the alpha male.
Maggie has definately stepped up too.
Last but not least, POOR HERSCHEL! First episode and he's gonna die, are you kidding me!?!
I can't believe there are people alive in the prison! What's that mean for the food supply though?
Mods can we pin this if the topic takes off?
What did everyone else think? Surprises, mad, upset? I wanna know my wife and I are walking dead junkies!

So glad Rick is not taking the crap from his wife anymore. Wish the zombies would have got her instead of Hershel.
Overall I really like the direction of some of the characters like Rick and Andrea are going.
I am going to miss Shane though.

hmmmmm looks like that's what is happening
Screamed about the last 2 minutes of the episode. What's with the zombie faking like he was dead? Zombies are not stealth
and the whole ax to the leg thing..........a bit upsetting
I was also kind of hoping for an explanation to the armless zombies on leashes. Guess I'll have to wait for that.

I think these people are from the same group as the kid who was kept captive last season(I can't remember the character or actors name. The actor currently plays a Jewish gangster on Boardwalk Empire) They group will probably get along with the prison survivors at first, until Rick gets power hungry and attempts to take over. In the madness that proceeds, hopefully Carol and Beth die in the process. Besides Hershel these are my least favorite characters. Speaking of Hershel, couldn't be happier about his eventual death.

Yeah Rick's wife was playing both sides last season and that wasn't cool. Rick is starting to definitely put her in her place.
Well, I was in this thread last season and if you will recall...............I thought they needed a secure building with tunnels leading in and out.

Maybe I can help with this part, Michonne (sword wielding bad***) has either cut or ripped their mouths off as well. What she has done is created pack mules for them. If you re-watch the episode as Michonne and Andrea were leaving the building they (armless zombies) had duffel bags strapped to their backs. She created Pack mules...er zombies?
I highly recommend The Walking Dead game, it's a point a click game that anyone could play, it's all about life and death decisions and how you interact with other characters.
Are you talking about the one on FB? I used to play it all the time, I was at a level 15 before I stopped. I just couldn't keep going it was too slow for me. I'm looking forward to the console version of the game
Here's a teaser trailer for the game if your interested.

That would definately be a twist of epic proportion if it was that kid. Why don't you like Hershel? To me he seemed stubborn but overall a good guy. If he is dead who delivers the baby for Ricks wife?
I haven't been so excited for a tv show ever.
My wife and I get giddy around 7pm and we hurry our kids to bed so we can watch uninterrupted lol.

I finally watched all of them in a marathon off of Netflix. All I can say is holy cow how have I missed this?!?
Such a great show.
When Sophia came out of that barn in season 2, I about pood myself.
I like the prison idea. And it should work in theory, but something I've been bugged by is this....they are in Georiga. They have been running in circles for a year now. Why not just go to the ocean? Find a port with a rather large boat and park it off the coast of a town. No zombies. Unlimited food supply. No winters....this would be my plan, but being in central Indy, it would take me awhile.

I like the idea, but it would be hard to get them to the coast in my opinion. All the highways are jammed up and since food, supplies, gas and ammunition are scarce so holding up is their best bet. Plus how fun would that storyline be? Lol
It is a great show though and I love it. Can't wait for sunday

How do you know they are her brother and husband. I'm not doubting you, I just would like to know. Did you read the graphic novels?

It is totally null from the storyline... only telling how vicious she is iMO. or intelligent. I think the later.

Tomas had it coming!
Rick is becoming a cross between a bad*** and a sociopath. The tomas thing I'm cool with and even though the other guy swung at him I didn't think he would just lock the other guy out. Wow!
Carl could end up getting himself into some serious trouble but props for getting the meds.
I almost feel sorry for Lori but she has put herself in the situation.
Wow what a good episode!
Oh btw Merle's back!!!!!!!!!

Carl is one of my favorite characters, Too many people hate on him for no reason. He's a kid for crying out loud. Daryl and Glen are also 2 favorites of mine. Gonna be odd to see the fate of Daryl too in the show cause I dont believe he's even in the books.
He is a kid and think that is why myself and a lot of other people do not like him. He really brings nothing to the show other then being a pain in the butt to his mom and dad. I rather have him though than Lori running around.
I thought it was a great episode and love the transition that Rick has made. He has defiantly is the leader of the group and will do anything to keep it safe now.
That machete to the head and locking that other guy out was just cold blooded and reminded me of what Shane was willing to do for the group. Rick having to put Shane down just triggered something in him.
The sad thing is Hershel was better off just dying because now he is a problem for the group. He is not going to get around well now that he is doing an impersonation of a pirate captain.
I am loving this new show runner and we are getting the zombie kills and violence that everyone wanted from the show.

True, but with him not having a leg he is a huge liability because he will not be able to move quickly if there is an issue in the jail. I guess that is a trade off they are going to have to deal with for his medical expertise. I am sure Lori much rather him be there for the birth of the child than have Carol who just practices on zombies.

I was thinking the same thing when Carol was practicing c section on a zombie. Lori will be lucky to survive this

Oh no way , that's a different game that's coming out, it's actually a first person shooter. And it's made by Activision, the same that published Call of Duty( zombies ) I wonder if Treyarch ( the actual creators of COD zombies) is involved.

If treyarch is involved then I'm sold. Black ops is fantastic, although the commercial I saw today for black ops 2 didn't look that good.

Shane was a snake, and everyone in their group knew it deep down. Rick has honor and is loyal. But he was just a tad too nice in the beginning. You are right tho... in Shane triggering something in him. Nice guys finish last in their world. and TRUST and LOYALTY are paramount in it.
Shane had to go. And so did Tomas and the young black dude.
This is going to get way better....
