I and all my family members are big fans of ducks. We think they are adorable. So, we support this: http://www.theonion....eadline:default
I just got finished with reading the Forum, when the first thing I see in yahoo featured news is the following..when I saw this, I thought of this post you made!
------------------------
If you live somewhere along the River Thames you may have seen something a little peculiar today. A 50-foot duck floated down the river today as part of a publicity stunt for the gaming company Jackpotjoy.
If a 50-foot duck is hard for you to fathom then you should know that the Jackpotjoy duck is also 135 cans of baked beans tall. Can’t imagine 135 cans of beans? Well it has also been described as three times the size of a double decker bus or twice as tall as a house.
ITV reports that the 50-foot duck was launched to celebrate the launch of Jackpotjoy’s new Facebook FUNdation. The FUNdation encourages Londoners to submit ideas about crazy ways to have fun.
-------------------
I haven't been able to post pictures for some reason, but there are plenty of pictures showing them having to raise the Tower Bridge, to allow the Duck's passing..Hope you like!

Watching that video made me think how when we get older we seldom hug as adults anymore unless a natural disaster struck your home or a close friend or family member just died. Sad really & typically women are more openly affectionate than men on average. Nice video John.
Yeah I know, some people might think it's childish, but I don't care. I like it. We are all little kids man we just come in different shapes & sizes.
Yes, I am secure enough in my masculinity & self esteem to admit that hugs are awesome & your video did make me smile. ![]()

It is amazing how a simple compliment can totally make a persons day sometimes.

Validation...That's all anybody really wants in life. We all want to be respected, admired, appreciated, & have our opinions & our innate talents confirmed by our peers. The short film does a fantastic job of encapsulating that notion.
It reminds of this scene from the film "Akeelah & The Bee." The story is about a girl who learns to take pride in her natural gift spelling & to let that gift emerge full throttle. Never be afraid to let your true beauty blossom completely...It other people laugh it just means that they are not as brave as you are, even though they secretly wish they were themselves.

Cute. By the way, the Eagles deal reminds me of:

Not quite the musical quality of the Eagles, but just might make you fall down laughing.

Did you ever listen to it, or are you just chuckling at the title? It was an hilarious album. I never even bought the thing. I friend of mine had it and I heard it - perhaps twice - a good 30 years ago. Yet I can still remember a lot of it. If you like Python....................
IE: "The decomposing composers, there's less of them every day.............."
and of course the classic...................
Well actually it would probably be against the rules to post it. ![]()

Actually, to tell you the truth, I was just making fun of the title MAC. It's probably the only comedy routine by Monty Python I've never heard. I will check it out on You Tube. Thanks for the suggestion. ![]()

It's all "music" actually, not their usual "routines". A series of probably very quickly written, incredibly silly and irreverent songs. But it's Monty Python. Even something horrible by musical standards can be funny - and the best of this album is them at their most absurd. Only they could get away with this.

I had a Border Collie Mix named Buddy who resembled Gin. Couldn't dance a lick, but was a tennis ball chasing phenom.
Of course I can't dance a lick either, which might have something to do with it. ![]()
