Susie - that reminds me of when we lived in a townhouse. Dogs were supposed to be strictly controlled, but after really bad storms I would tunnel a route to the woods 40' behind us. We would just open the sliding glass doors and they would sprint for the trees - Labrador blazing the trail, Sheltie tucked opportunistically in her wake - do what doggies do doo, and sprint back before their toes got too cold. :)
