Next seasons needs?

For me. Looking at our loss to the Patriots, I see some areas I find that could use an upgrade. I think the Colts should go after 3 players in particular. 1) Michael Johnson. 2) maybe Brandon spikes or Vincent Rey to help out the line backing core. 3) trade Trent Richardson and sign ben Tate and Ballard and Bradshaw. You know what a legit CB would be great maybe Tillman. Hie could cone cheap and be of good use in rotation.

Tell me what you think fans.

And remember be respectful. That is all I ask please.

Michael Johnson is best suited for the position he fills with the Bengals, a 4-3 DE. In the 3-4, he would likely be too small for a DE. I'm uncertain how he would do as an OLB.

I agree that Brandon Spikes or Vincent Rey would fill a big need: to become stouter up the middle.

I haven't given up on Richardson. He needs to see a good sports psychologist in the off season to regain confidence. His hesitation in he backfield caused him to miss numerous opportunities,

We should let Franklin go in FA and pick up a NT in FA to strengthen the middle as well.

We put to much into Richardson to just trade him. He needs an off season which is what he's getting. We've seen that he can run, its the hesitation that needs to stop. I think he will be very successful next year. I think Bradshaw would be a good addition, not only is he a great back, he could help young Richardson and Ballard. (Obviously his injuries make him unreliable though) To be honest, im very excited for Richardson next year.

As for CB maybe we should look into seriously investing, Talib would make a great upgrade. (Would be very costly)

We have a huge cap, but we also need to save some of the cap for when Lucks contract comes around. (Going to be very expensive.) We need above average players and were going to have to over pay in order to get them. We also need a good depth in case of injuries.

Richardson needs an offseason plus we dont have a oline an we should go find a big fullback that can help as well

First off: why sign Bradshaw if he probably won't play a full season? He is injury prone and not worth it. Richardson, I believe, will be decent once the Colts figure out how and when to use him..

As for offseason needs: We need to sign a Wide Receiver (and draft one). We should make a hard push for Alex Mack. We desperately need a solid Center to control the offseason line (ex. Jeff Saturday).. Finally, the Colts need to add a solid Safety AND some help on the defensive line.. Also, draft some offensive line help.

Alex Mack, Eric Decker, and I'd even think about signing Eugene Monroe

and moving Castonzo to left guard. Castonzo was tried at guard at the Senior Bowl so someone thought he could play guard. Then draft the

best player on the list because we need help all over.

1. Alex Mack is great but he might be resigned by the Browns (they have cap room.) I hope we can at least land Brian De La Puente, who is still a good C.

2. I'd say Decker isn't the best fit for Indy. I know receiver doesn't feel solid with T.Y. who is imo more of a high end #2 reciever than a true #1, Reggie coming off of the injury, and Da'Rick still being a bit of a question mark, but I don't think Decker is the answer. I think we need either a long term solution for a #1 guy or a veteran player who can come in immediately and contribute under something like a 1 year contract (in our receiving core outside of Reggie nobody will have more than 3rd year experience.) Remember, we're getting back Reggie and Allen so WR is low on our needs list. If the O-line improves by enough and we stay healthy, I think we can do well with the guys we have. But I think I'd at least draft a WR in the 5th or 6th round.

3. I love the idea of making our offensive line a powerhouse. Monroe is a stud. But I just don't see Grigson & co. trying this. AC is really doing ok - pretty good in protection, but I agree ideally we'd be better than that at LT. I have no idea how he'd transition to guard.

I say we make a good push for Mack at cener, Resign Davis bring in a guy like Grime across from Davis and Byrd at FS. We need another corner because we don't have a sure thing in Toler. We could us a guy like Hardy at DE, hell I could even see us go after MJD but I know thats unlikly. I do think Richardson will be much better next season, its funny his stats are the same as Lynch when he first came into the NFL but look at him know lets not give up on Trich so fast. I did like the play of Bradshaw but its a waste of money if he can't stay on the field now who I would give up on is Walden who was'nt all that impressive to me plus we would save over 4 million agaist the cap. We also need better depth on the oline but I can only see us branging in a few FA but not so much because of Lucks future contract but the fact is 30 million to 45 million isn't a lot if your looking to sign good players rather then meddiocre players that are just role players rather the true diffence makers.

We definitely need to go after Alex Mack. Having a good center is crucial to having a good O-Line. Personally i would be estatic if the colts managed to sign two #1 corners. Having Davis paired with say, Alterraun Verner would be a huge upgrade for our defense. I would also be very happy if we managed to draft both Cyril Richardson from Baylor and Shayne Skov from Stanford.

Maurice Jones Drew is a free agent.....I like his physical presence and can make people miss.....he is 29 so he is at the end of his career but for the money he could be a good pick up to split carriers (stay healthy) with Richarson who will break out and Vick Ballard who is underated....MJD knows the division and would like to play for a winner!!  Alex Mack would be great, I also have this feeling that we may get a ex Raven (Pagano) Michael Oher or Eugene Monroe.....Let Toler and Bethea go and sign Captain Munnerlyn and Jarius Bryd......Jason Worilds would be nice too!  WR I think will be OK with Wayne, Rogers, Whalen, TY, Brazil......Fixing those line issues will change everyones stats giving more time for plays to develop/running the ball.......Whoever they sign I hope he better than the WHOPPERS from last year...

I believe the O line needs to be shored up. The WR spots will be fine. The Colts had a patch work of players on offense. I feel if they have a off season together the team will be fine come next year. The core is there it just needs to be molded.
