A look back and ahead (final)

It's year 2 of the new era, hard to really know how the new leaders will go about the approach of (continuing) building the monster. The results in year #1, surpassed reasonable expectations, with the wholesale changes and extremly young talent, a playoff game wasn't the norm, what I saw this year, was a team that had some talent, some depth, that bought into to Pagano's blueprint on what it takes to win in the NFL, had some quality coaches who stepped up and kept that going and G.M who has a very good eye, for the type of player who "fits" that blueprint and a group of players who defined what a winner is, in the end, what matters is.................winning.

There is a wealth of young talent on this team, who should only get better, players will improve, just by knowing the system better, there will be players who won't be back, there is suppossed to be a surplus of $$, under the salary cap, to add the "right" type of free agents.... the draft, college free agents, etc, to add to the core of talent on hand. I think the team is pretty solid, at most positions, upgrading and turnover, is a constant in the NFL, the biggest need area is the offensive line, needs will also be determined by who returns and who doesn't. Some other areas that need to be looked at are safety, defensive line and overall depth at CB, along with upgrading the talent level, on special teams. With an elite QB, leading the way, alot of wins will be expected, to become a championship team, year-after-year, the supporting cast has to be balanced, this group has shown that they know how to win and with more talent, the sky, really is the limit............

Mid range free agents....one or two names....OL help in FA and in draft....

Hard to imagine this time last year thinking our Colts would go 11-5....what a year, and the off season is going to be FUN!

Grigs says he does not need name players.  While I agree to some extent, a Spencer or a Kruger would be nice...and a couple of at least 'known o-linemen.

This year is a totally different animal than last year.  It is much easier to see mistakes made when the talent is 'supposed to be superior.'  Last year we needed a program :)

I don't know why some teams just don't get it.................they use the same mindset, year after year and get the same results (losing) year after year and refuse to change that mindset....this is suppossed to be a copycat league..why don't those (losers) pay attention to the teams that win..........every year and .........its not rocket science, really it isn't
